The Cohiba Lanceros is the quintessential Cuban cigar. Historically, this was the cigar that the Cuban government offered to its guests and politicians as a sign of respect. It is also the first vitola created by the great Cohiba house. With its long, slender silhouette, it is wrapped in a beautiful, smooth, and silky wrapper.

On the cold draw, it offers aromas of cedar and forest floor. The first puffs are rather vegetal, yet gentle and marked by light honeyed notes. It takes a little time to reach the second third, which becomes a bit more animalic, filling the palate with notes of leather and black pepper. The final third will be more powerful, without being too aggressive. Allow around 2 hours to enjoy this legendary cigar.
