A vitola with already substantial dimensions, the Montecristo Open Eagle is well constructed, presented in an oily and silky wrapper. Unlit, aromas of chocolate and wood are very present. Lighting it is easy, the first puffs are smooth on the palate with notes of vanilla and cedar, offering a strong sense of sweetness without too much complexity. The fairly compact ash confirms the good quality of this vitola.

The second third confirms the sweetness of the beginning and the great linearity of this vitola. The finish brings back woody aromas.
