Description
S.T. Dupont Sword Collection writing instruments and the S.T. Dupont William Shakespeare Brown LE Ligne 2 lighter, which make up the William Shakespeare collection, embody the expertise of S.T. Dupont artisans. The Ligne 2 lighter features the same glitter lacquer and yellow gold finishes as the pen. Yorick’s skull is delicately placed on the side of the lighter, and William Shakespeare’s signature is engraved on the striker. S.T. Dupont pays tribute to the playwright’s birthday by numbering each product in this limited edition of 1564 pieces. Each item in the William Shakespeare collection is presented in a black lacquered wooden case.
One of William Shakespeare’s most famous plays, and also his longest, inspired S.T. Dupont in the creation of its new collection: Hamlet. The tragic story of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, was first performed between 1598 and 1601. The plot begins with the appearance of the ghost of the King of Denmark, then continues around the themes of revenge and death. In this play, William Shakespeare symbolically represents death, the inevitable, through Yorick’s skull, which serves as the signature motif for all products in the S.T. Dupont collection.
