The José L. Piedra Cazadores is a particularly noteworthy Habano not only because its blend is made from tobaccos grown exclusively in Cuba, but also because it is crafted using the Totalmente a Mano, Tripa Corta technique, or “entirely handmade, short filler”.

On the palate, the flavors are mainly woody and vegetal. Afterwards, a touch of pepper rounds out the aromatic profile. This is a medium-strength cigar.

The Piedra family arrived in Cuba in the 1880s from the Spanish province of Asturias. They settled near the city of Santa Clara, in the heart of the Remedios region, where tobacco has been grown since the 16th century, and began making cigars.
The family’s second generation, led by José Lamadrid Piedra, whose name is commemorated today, founded and developed the brand.

The José L. Piedra Cazadores is a Corona vitola measuring 152 mm in length and 17.07 mm in diameter (ring gauge 43). It will take you about 45 minutes to enjoy properly.
