Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo de San Juan SLB (25)

Hoyo de Monterrey modernizes the Le Hoyo series with a new large-ring cigar for this historic line, which is being reinvented and expanded today. This new cigar is crafted from a blend of Seco and Ligero sourced exclusively from San Juan y Martinez, the historic benchmark of Cuban appellation of origin and the place where the brand was founded in 1865.

The format of the Hoyo de San Juan SLB is the « Geniales » (ring gauge 54, 21,43 mm x 150 mm long). Le Hoyo de San Juan is available in SLB boxes of 25 cigars in boxes SLB of 10 units and in A/T boxes of 3 cigars in tubes.

Hoyo de Monterrey owes its origins to the plantation of the same name, located in San Juan y Martinez (D.O.P.), in the heart of the Vuelta Abajo (D.O.P.) region. It is there that the Hoyo de Monterrey plantation is found, one of the most famous « Vegas de Primera », with the famous inscription on its entrance gate: “ Hoyo de Monterrey. José Gener. 1860”.

The Spaniard José Gener, from Tarragona, first used the name of this plantation as a brand in 1865. All Hoyo de Monterrey cigars are made entirely by hand with long filler – Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga – The flavor of its blend makes it an appealing option for those who enjoy a mild Habano with a delicate aroma, as well as being extremely elegant and complex.

These boxes also include new innovations for the brand image. First, the rectangular papeleta sticker on the shorter side of the box – on the 10- and 25-count boxes, as well as the new white ribbon that adorns the 25-count boxes.
