H. Upmann Regalías (5)

The Línea Retro was announced in late 2017 by Habanos S.A., and it was expanded with a third cigar: the H. Upmann Regalías. This new addition joins the Romeo y Julieta Club Kings and the Partagás Capitols.

The H. Upmann Regalías has long been in the H. Upmann catalog. Its introduction dates back to before 1960. However, before being rolled according to the “Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga” tradition, it was machine-made until 2002.

Carefully arranged in a retro-looking aluminum case inspired by the original pocket cigar holders so popular in the 1970s, the Regalías are, like the Romeo y Julieta Club Kings and the Partagás Capitols, Petit Coronas measuring 16.53 mm (42) x 129 mm, a vitola that is still widely used by Habanos brands.

In fact, when announcing the launch of Línea Retro, Habanos S.A. stated that this format was “probably the most popular format in the history of Habanos.” Thanks to Línea Retro, the H. Upmann brand gives its Regalías a new package, whereas it had previously only been available in boxes of 25 cigars.

The H. Upmann Regalías is a Petit Corona-format cigar and will take about 30 minutes to enjoy.
