H. Upmann Connossieur No. 2 (25)

HAVANA, November 26, 2020 /PRNewswire/ Habanos, S.A., through its exclusive distributor for Germany, Austria, and Poland, Fifth Avenue Products Trading-GmbH, presented the new H. Upmann Connossieur No 2 vitola (diameter 20.07 mm (ring gauge 51) and length 134 mm) for the first time as a world premiere.

This launch comes in a natural wood sliding box with crystal paper and a Sandra ribbon. It consists of 25 cigars made «Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga»—completely by hand with long filler, after a careful selection of the wrapper, filler, and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo* region, where the tobacco considered the best in the world is grown.

With this new vitola, H. Upmann incorporates the ring gauge 51 for the first time into the brand, as well as into the Habanos, S.A. portfolio. This Habano, with its similar format and lighter strength, joins the standard portfolio to enrich the Línea Connossieur* which has achieved great success and recognition within the brand.

H. Upmann is one of the oldest Habanos brands. It was created in 1844 by the Upmann brothers, who succeeded in keeping their brand alive to this day, and it is considered an example among the most refined Habanos with strength ranging from mild to medium. Quality is one of the brand's most distinctive elements, as reflected by the gold medals that adorn its image, earned by the brand at no fewer than eleven international fairs during the 19th century.
