Upmann Magnum 50
This is a great cigar for people who want to take their time enjoying a prestigious Havana. It measures 160mm by 19.84mm in diameter and has a very pronounced flavor. H. Upmann became known to the public because of its involvement in the history of the Cuban embargo with President John F. Kennedy. In short, he asked Salinger, his press secretary at the time, to go to Havana and bring him 1,200 H. Upmann Petit Coronas, his favorite cigar, which he smoked every day. After obtaining his cigars, he signed the Cuban embargo, which banned all imports, and the rest is history. The brand has evolved and created several classic cigars, with the Magnum 50 being one of its best-sellers. This superb light-to-medium cigar offers leather flavors with hints of wood and even vanilla, capable of delighting even the least experienced cigar lovers.

Romeo y Julieta Cedros De Luxe LCDH
It is simply a showstopper. You cannot walk past an open box of Romeo y Julieta Cedros De Luxe without taking a second look. It is like the first time you see the person you love: you fall in love with its beauty and remain in love with its taste. It presents itself in an unexpected way. Only a small part of the cigar is exposed because of a thin piece of wood that surrounds it. Even the bands are on the cedar, which must be removed before smoking. The flavors of the Cedros De Luxe are rather medium, with floral and fruity nuances. When lit, there are vanilla notes that make the cigar slightly sweet before moving on to the characteristic earthiness of excellent Cuban tobacco. The Cedros De Luxe is an LCDH-exclusive vitola, presented in a box of 10 cigars with a size of 141mm by 19.84mm.

Partagas Série D No. 4 SBN
If the Partagas Série D N°4 is one of the most famous cigars in the world, it is simply because it brings together all the qualities of a great habano. Handcrafted in the oldest Cuban factory still in operation, it is made from the finest tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo. From the very first glance, you are won over by its slightly veined, perfectly even Colorado wrapper. The construction is also solid, with a beautifully finished triple cap. Once lit, this 50-ring-gauge Robusto releases aromas of fresh grass, menthol, earth, and spices that complement each other wonderfully. There are also notes of licorice, toasted nuts, and caramel. At once powerful, balanced, and generous, the Partagas Série D N°4 moves us as much as it delights us. After tasting it, we better understand why Cigar Aficionado magazine named it the “4th best cigar of 2021”.

Montecristo No. 2
The Montecristo No. 2 is one of the Cuban masterpieces. Every cigar smoker is drawn to its classic torpedo shape. It is a huge, robust cigar measuring 156mm by 20.64mm in diameter and features a beautiful light brown wrapper that feels quite velvety to the touch. Notes of spice and pepper, as well as almonds and cedar, are to be expected. When you light it, it starts off fairly mild to medium, but gradually develops into a full-bodied cigar in all its grandeur, without sacrificing flavor. The original No. 2 was released in 1935 and has remained unchanged ever since, rising to the top of Cigar Aficionado magazine’s list in 2013. There are several controversies and conflicting opinions surrounding this cigar. Some say it is a fantastic cigar suitable for any occasion. Others may argue that it is not beneficial at all for various reasons. This cigar is like a celebrity: you either love it or loathe it, there is no in-between. There is no middle ground, and we happen to love it at HABANO & ALMA.

Punch 48 LCDH
The Punch 48 cigar was released in 2016, making it the youngest cigar on our list. It is also the first cigar to feature both the HABANO & ALMA and Habanos Specialists bands. The number 48 looks great on the cigar band, but it serves no purpose other than indicating the ring gauge. The flavor of this incredible cigar is its most surprising aspect. It already has a great deal of subtlety and depth in its flavors for such a young cigar, making it a fantastic experience. It is not a super premium cigar, and it won't break the bank, but this medium-bodied smoke deserves a place on our list for all the reasons mentioned above.
