H. Upmann Coronas Major Tubos (25)
Description
The H. Upmann Coronas Major is a Mareva vitola, with a length of 129 mm and a ring gauge of 43. A wonderful milk chocolate aroma comes through in this cigar, with notes of cinnamon and honey on the cold draw.
From the very first puff, aromas of cedar and vanilla are prominent, with notes of citrus and tea adding to the wonderful herbal tobacco flavor that has noticeable sweetness.
The Coronas Major starts with a medium-to-full strength profile, but moves closer to full strength in the second half of the cigar, and leaves a distinct espresso taste on the palate after the finish, which you can expect after about an hour.
This is a powerful cigar that produces very flavorful smoke. Straightforward, this Corona needs to be smoked at a steady pace so it doesn't burn hot. Once made only by machine, Habanos made the right choice by now rolling them by hand. It pairs perfectly with bourbon to add punch and echo the cigar's herbal qualities.
